I am always so grateful to anyone who buys a copy of one of my books, or picks one up from the library. For some time, I’ve been trying to think of a way to say “thank you” to those kind souls and finally I’ve come up with a plan. Under this “bonus content” tab, you’ll find patterns which use the stitches and techniques in my books. I won’t be publishing the full pattern, just instructions based on the stitches. So, only those readers with access to the book will be able to make the projects. After 12 months, the patterns in full will be released as pdfs.
I hope you’ll find something here that sparks your interest. The first few designs are suitable for beginners, using basic stitches and techniques and I’ll add page numbers to helpful step by step photos and charts for each pattern.
The first pattern I’m making available is the Soft Wave Blanket, which uses a simple technique of increasing and decreasing treble stitches (that’s double crochet for my American readers) using the Soft Wave stitch that you’ll find on pages 98 and 99 of Crochet. learn It, Love It (which was previously published as The Woman’s Weekly Guide to Crochet in the UK).
To find the pattern, just select “Soft Wave Blanket” from the drop down menu.
