When I decided to make an adult size version of my simple granny tank top for toddlers I didn’t realise it would generate so much interest on Pinterest! Somehow it found its way to a free crochet patterns board and from there I have had hundreds of visits and enquiries about the pattern. So, the good news is, I have begun to update the pattern and hopefully I’ll be releasing and adult version of the pattern soon. Meanwhile, you can buy a toddler size pattern over on Craftsy. Please note that the pattern is written in UK crochet terms. Fans of the series Greys Anatomy, will immediately “get” why I call this my Meredith!
The adult version pictured here takes approx 500m of dk yarn and fits an average UK size 10. The yarn I used for this version is now discontinued, so I am making another version, but with so much commission work at the moment it’s proving hard to find the time. I’m also busy with freelance writing and personal projects, but I still try to find time to keep my Baking and Making blog updated.
In other news, issue 89 of Inside Crochet magazine is now on sale and I have lots of new patterns published in there. I’m also really happy that I was able to use some of my favourite British wools for the commissions this month. Do look out for it. I’ll be posting lots of pictures and more details soon.
Thanks so much for keeping in touch with me, I really do appreciate all your messages.
Happy making x
